St Peter in the Loop
Due to its height and location within the financial district of the loop, this building was required to obtain a Life Safety Evaluation in accordance with the Chicago Building Code. The five story building was built in 1951-52 and includes a 1000 seat church on the main level with residences above for brothers residing at the friary. The evaluation required a complete analysis and documentation of the buildings fi re safety, general safety and means of egress components. This included on site inspections and evaluations of the buildings entire structural, mechanical, electrical, life safety and architectural systems.
