St. Isidore Perpetual Adoration Chapel

This project encompassed three main parts:

  • A site analysis to determine the feasibility of future building expansion on the church campus.
  • A Chapel of Perpetual Adoration. An intimate yet formal setting where members of the community could view the Eucharist, meditate, and reflect.
  • Tying into the old building. Careful matching of materials was conducted to make certain that the new building flowed seamlessly into the existing.

Security and site location were crucial in allowing for round-the-clock access. The proposed building needed to maintaining clear exiting from the Existing Building while also allowing access to the new amenities. Due to higher than expected construction costs several design revisions were made late in Construction Documents. After revision were made the scope of the project settled on a ~600SF Chapel, an ADA toilet room, and a Mechanical closet. We closely followed the construction of the project from Ground Breaking to Grand Opening.

Project Cost: $850,000
Site Location: Bloomingdale, Illinois
Completion Date: 2018
